HALO, HERE WE GO!

 

 

 

 

 

Collectively, with our 30 years' + experience in global hospitality operations and marketing communications, we have united to create Halo Business Consulting, specialising in hospitality, in the key areas of customer experience, operations, marketing and communications.  

 

Having lived in London for many years, we took the decision to transform our work-life balance. Our love of coastal life brought us to the majestic north east coast of England where Halo Business Consulting is based, whilst representing clients on both a local and global scale.  As industry insiders, we’ve had the fortune of working with some of the best brands in the world during our time in the USA, Thailand, Scotland and London.

 

Prior to launching Halo, we’d undertaken some marketing and communications consulting on a freelance basis, enjoying working as a ‘plug-in’ resource to support various businesses. Given our combined experience in hospitality operations and customer experience at some of the best hotels in the world, we decided to join forces, to create a comprehensive consultancy service, offering flexible support to businesses, whether it's fully integrated consultancy, advice in one key area or becoming a 'virtual' leadership team member.

It feels like there is a true gap to offer this flexible leadership model to the hospitality industry and beyond, where our experience helps brands elevate their customer experience, marketing and communications to leave a lasting, positive impression on their guests.

CREATING OUR BRAND, HALO BUSINESS CONSULTING  

 

 

 

 

To start a business, there were many elements to address. Not least, creating our brand. We’d both had the fortune of implementing branding from some of the best during our time with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Hotels, The Goring and with the launch team at Shangri-La Hotel at The Shard, but, creating a brand for our own business came with new challenges and opportunities.

 

We undertook a thought-provoking branding exercise which led us to ask who are we, what we call ourselves, what values we hold and how this is reflected in our visual identity. Our branding informs everything we communicate. After lots of inspiration searching, we came to the word Halo. A symbol of light and positivity, the psychology of the halo effect which is initiated during first impressions and, of course, its association with angels...and the north!


From our colour palette which is rooted in a trusty blue with some fun and warm colours, which we feel really represents us, to our logo’s icons, which nods to the halo effect which is integral in hospitality, we’ve delved deep to capture the essence of Halo Business Consulting and the services we offer.
