It’s hard to believe that five years have flown by since Halo Business Consulting began its journey. What started as a vision with a lot of hope has blossomed into a thriving business and we have been privileged to partner with some outstanding clients and collaborators across the hospitality industry and beyond. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re immensely grateful to everyone who has been a part of our journey.

Here are five achievements that fill us with pride as we turn five:

1. Client Loyalty

Our clients are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re honored that around 90% of them continue to work with us. From Edinburgh to London and even Bangkok, we’ve been a part of some remarkable hotel openings and hospitality projects.

2. Entrepreneur Family

The entrepreneurial spirit is contagious! We’re proud to be part of the NatWest #NorthernDreamTeam, surrounded by like-minded entrepreneurs who inspire us to reach higher.

3. Industry Impact

Over the years, we’ve launched The Halo Effect Podcast, contributed to industry books, and shared our insights in key publications. Through these channels, we’re able to drive conversations and support our industry.

4. Giving Back

Giving back is a cornerstone of our values. From serving as Entrepreneur in Residence at Sheffield Hallam University to mentoring with The Girls’ Network and donating profits to charities, we’re committed to making a positive impact.

5. Recognition through Awards

Our efforts have been acknowledged with multiple awards, including winning StartUp of the Year for Professional Services (NE) in 2022. 

We’re also thrilled to announce a special episode of our podcast The Halo Effect: Hospitality Stories with Ashleigh and Michael Donald, which will be released on Wednesday, November 13th! This anniversary edition will dive into our journey, challenges, and the achievements that make us proud to be part of Halo.
