UK’s first JdV by Hyatt hotel planned for Oxfordshire
Oxford Witney Hotel is expected to become the UK’s first JdV by Hyatt hotel by the end of 2026, bringing the brand’s vibrant, locally inspired approach to Witney, Oxfordshire.
Operated by InnPractice, the 130-bedroom hotel is undergoing an extensive transformation to create an upscale lifestyle destination that reflects the character of its surroundings. Its evolving identity and guest experience will draw inspiration from Witney’s centuries-old wool and blanket-making heritage, alongside the craftsmanship of the Arts and Crafts movement.
Located around 15 miles west of Oxford and within easy reach of the Cotswolds, the transformed hotel will include a restaurant and bar showcasing local produce, flexible event spaces and close connections with Witney’s community of makers.
JdV by Hyatt is known for independent hotels that celebrate individuality, neighbourhood spirit and a strong sense of place. Oxford Witney Hotel will bring this philosophy to life through a distinctly local story, connecting guests with Witney, Oxfordshire and the wider Cotswolds.
